Hair style advice for guys?

My hair is waxed down there, so it seems shorter than it actually is, when it it isn't waxed down, it's kind like a straight afro just sticks out.





Basically it's getting close to my prom, just over 2 weeks, and I wanna get a decent hair style for my prom, so i've been growing it. Does anyone have any decent hair styles, not short ones, they think would suit me? ( pics if possible)





Also, as i'm growing it, does anyone have any advice for that. I kinda want a flat, short layered look, nothing off my neck or too far past my ears, similar to Maxxies off skins ( http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en鈥?/a>

i think your better keeping it long at the top and front but at the back get it cut , and maybe some brown flashes through the fringe , then wax it down like you have in the picture then spike the fringe up a little , my friend had somthing like that it was so nice , he suited it !Hair style advice for guys?

id say spike your hair...and dont wax it down to your forehead it makes you look sweaty...have fun at your prom!!!!!
