Advice from guys plz (girls can answer to)??????

i can belly dance but don't know how to tell my bf. he has like no idea. i wanna dance for him but i dnt know if it will be wierd. shoud i just let it go? dyu think he'll laugh? ive been doing it ever since i was a child as its my culture so i can dance pretty well but i usually dance with my friends so it will be different. what wud u say to ur gf if she told u? r u into that type of thing? o i need advice plz. how do u think i should go about telling him.

Back when I was dating, if I found out that a lady I was dating was a belly dancer, I would have seen that as an *awesome* bonus!





One idea might be to have a conversation about your culture without specifically bringing up dancing, and tell him that you'd like to share something with him from your culture. Perhaps you could invite him over for dinner or something and then let him know that you want to share something with him, go change, turn on some music and surprise him.

If it's something you've been doing since you were a child, then you must have some kind of passion for it. I think with that alone you should definitely tell him you have that talent, especially if it's part of your culture. I would just mention it to him. Tell him it's something you have been doing for a long time. He'll probably be interested and ask you to dance for him.





One time my girlfriend's GRANDMOTHER had been taking belly dance lessons and wanted to dance for us on my girlfriend's birthday. I'm sure she was somewhat embarrassed but I thought it was interesting and thought my girlfriend should be proud of her grandmother for having enough courage to do something like that, even in her old age.





But back to you...I would just mention it to him and see if he's interested.
Just tell him it was something you learned since being a kid and show him. If he's any less than impressed then he's complete jerk anyway lol. Seriously though, it's not like you're telling him a shady secret from your past so I can only see it will at very least a good talking point and at best he may get a proper kick out of it.

i think that you shudnt worry about it..if your boyfriend is really into you then it wudnt matter even if you cant do it best, he'll jus appreciate the thought/effort..but i really think he'll be impressed coz belly dance is kind of sexy.And you dont need to tell him, just sit him down and show him.lol

just like be texting him and when it gets to a good point, say something like ';so whats something that no one know about you :)'; and he wil answer.. then he will probably ask you the same question in return and you say ';hmm..well i can belly dance!'; and then he'll be like woahh cool and ask you to show him sometime! haha thats what i would do at least..

The way to introduce him to it is to set up a role play date. Stretch out a great rug, serve a sorta traditional meal. Come up with clothes for him that go along with the Sultan (or tribal chief...) motif. Then light candles or lamps, and have fun dancing for him!

If its your boyfriend, and he really likes you for being you, then you shouldnt have to hide a part of yourself likethat from him. I think it would be pretty cool if I had a girlfriend who bellydanced. So yeah tell him, and im sure itll be fine

Theres really not much detail involved here lol i say u just ask him so u both kno what to expect and it doesnt end up seemin akward....i dont see why he wouldnt like it tho
