I recently broke up with my boyfriend of nearly a year. The reasons were varied, but our relationship really wasn't functioning well for awhile. I think I was too clingy and he has a fear of relationships. Also he accused me of not listening to him, which isn't necessarily true. Anyway, I want him back so bad. We were like best friends before we dated, but now it's so hard for me to get over him and just be friends again. We're okay, but not great. I thought maybe since I might be going away for the summer, it would help us out and maybe I could come back and say that I've thought about things and maybe we should give it another try? Does anyone have any advice? How can I get him back? Guys and girls - advice needed!?
Call him up and tell him how you feel. Communication is the most important thing. Don't hold anything back. How can I get him back? Guys and girls - advice needed!?
My ex and I were off and on for a year and a half, and I was heartbroken each time it didn't work out. Try talking to him about it to see if he wants to give it another chance and really try to make it work. Good luck.
Let him go...if he comes back to you he is yours...if he doesnt...move on and find another man were things function well.
Sounds like you're still clinging to him. Doesn't sound real healthy; furthermore, if your relationship wasn't working well in the past, that could be an indicator your not compatible. Work on your self-esteem, then you won't need him. Take care.
You stated that he accused you of not listening. Sometimes in relationships we listen, we just don't hear what the other person is saying. If your relationship did not function well before, it probably won't if you get back together until you work through the problems. The best policy is to be honest with him. Since you are friends, sit down and talk and really listen to each other. Discover where you went wrong the first time, what the real problems were and how not to make the same mistakes again. Tell this guy how you really feel about him and if he feels the same, the two of you can make it work. No one said that relationships were easy. But if you truly love the person, it is worth the extra effort.
How does he feel? Ask him. If he feels the same, than it is always worth another try. Take it slow..... If he doesn't, than it is best to let go.
perhaps you should both sit down and have a honest heart to heart about how you both feel and get any problems out into the open, be honest and up front with each other no secrets, he has has a fear of relationships and things have not been going well for the both of you together then he may be reluctant to try again,
Just wait and see what happens. Try to just make friends with him again.
If you really love this dude then don't give up on him. Talk to him before you leave and let him know how you feel. Let him have his time alone and you go chill with your girls. The time you spend apart will makes the time spent together even more precious Maybe he'll realize that he has a good thing and he'll come to his senses. Love tkes time, don't rush it.
Just call him and say hello and see what happens. Maybe he feels the same way about you..only one way to find out..pick up that phone but DO NOT sound desperate!
good luck
sometimes we guys need time to ourselves just a time to be alone don't know why it's just the way we guys are..give him some time... he'll come back just DON'T call hime DON'T go looking for him that just makes us back from the relationship more just give him time that way he knows that your not clouding over him....just give hime some time if he loves u he will be back
Yes that would be good. Being honest is wat ppl appreciate most. I think u should sit down and consider whether u really want him back or u were juz so used 2 him dat u cant go on without him. If u really love him, u should tell him so. U should suggest that both of you put the past behind and start afresh. Im sure u guys had good moments u can dwell on too. Good luck my friend! Go for it! At least one day u wont regret that u didn't do smtg about it!
