Relationship advice please....guys and girls!!!?

This is going to be long....





OK. I am 24 yrs old, about 2 months ago I broke up with my fiancee, we had been together for 11 yrs. I have been seeing this guy since I broke off my engagement, we grew up next door to each other so we have always been relatively close. So the guy that I have been talking to is newly divorced, and he has a three year old little girl. There is the background for you.





Now, we have been talking, and a lot has come up about how we felt about each other in the past, we just really never knew how the other felt about the other one so we never persued anything. Now, all these feelings have came out, and I can honestly say that I love him. I would do anything for him. But here is the problem....





He tells me all the time that he can see himself with me forever, he never wants to lose me, and that he will do everything in his power to make sure we are always together. We basically already live with each other, we stay together every night. So here I am believing that he truely wants to be with me, but I found out Saturday night that he thinks we are moving to fast.....





He told my best friend that he feels like we are moving to fast and that he is scared of falling in love with me....WTF?!?





Ok I totally understand where he is coming from but why is he telling me everything that he is, doing all that he is doing, staying with me every night??? I am totally confused because he is telling me one thing and telling other people different things. Is he not being honest with me? Was he bs'n them?





Do you think I am wasting my time on this? I really want it to work but how when he isn't bein honest with me?Relationship advice please....guys and girls!!!?
he doesnt wanna be burned by a female cuz he doesnt trust your gender now. but your 11 year commitment might look good on your date resume ; )
